2018 International Women's Day Basketball Event
EVENT INFORMATION
To celebrate International Women's Day, Even Footing teamed up with coaches from Saturday Night Lights and Columbia University's basketball coach Megan Griffith to offer a night full of basketball games and lessons.
ACTIVITIES
With help from their coaches, the girls learned different skills and techniques to improve their game. While some girls had played before, many were new to basketball and learned one-on-one the basics of the game. At the end of the night, the groups came together for one large game with all of the players working together.

PIZZA
With the kind discount from Famous Famiglia's Pizzeria, the event included pizza for the girls and their families. Everyone participating also received water bottles thanks to the generous donation from West Side Market.
